The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV) has announced “A Campaign to End Domestic Violence”, an advocacy campaign that aims to gain elected officials’ support of anti-domestic violence programs and initiatives. This coming March 25-28, CPEDV’s Policy team will meet with over 30 new state legislators to inform them of the crucial services that domestic violence agencies provide. Partner agencies are encouraged to meet with their local legislators to prepare for that week.
The Partnership was formed in 2005 as a result of the merger of two organizations, the California Alliance Against Domestic Violence and the Statewide California Coalition for Battered Women. Currently it enjoys the support of 150 members. Membership is available not only to organizations but to individuals. Learn more about it here!
