As an online interactive community network, the Domestic Violence Information and Referral Center (DVIRC) provides a safe space for domestic violence service providers to share, network, and access updated information so that effective and appropriate resources and referrals can be offered to domestic violence survivors. Thirty-three domestic violence service providers from across various counties in California are now utilizing the Domestic Violence Information and Referral Center (DVIRC) system. The three newest members, joining in June are:
Building Futures With Women and Children in San Leandro
SafeStart (a program of the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center) in San Francisco
Victim Services Division, San Francisco District Attorney’s Office in San Francisco
In the next few months, W.O.M.A.N., Inc. will be working with these agencies to train staff on how to use the system and implement it successfully within their organizations. To learn more about the DVIRC project and to see a complete list of agencies belonging to the DVIRC project, visit DVIRC Program Information on the W.O.M.A.N., Inc.
