It’s my pleasure to welcome Maureen Egan on board as our new Educational Development Manager. Maureen has a long history with W.O.M.A.N., Inc., having served as our Crisis Line Director between 2006 and 2008 and as a Marriage & Family Therapy Intern between 2005 and 2008. In addition, Maureen has an extensive background that has allowed her to connect with a variety of community agencies. She worked with the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic concentrating on substance abuse issues and also at San Mateo Correctional Health Services offering support to inmates dealing with mental health issues. In addition, she teaches a course on Family Violence at Golden Gate University.
As Educational Development Manager, Maureen will be able to combine all of these experiences and bring new life to our trainings and educational curriculum. Maureen says, “I bring enthusiasm and care to my work and I truly enjoy working on teams.” This enthusiasm coupled with her work experience has brought a new energy to W.O.M.A.N., Inc. We are excited to see how she will make the position her own, work with our team, and develop our educational efforts.
