Last week on April 12th, W.O.M.A.N., Inc. was invited to table at the 4th Annual Community & Family Resource Fair at James Denman Middle School. While distributing cards, flyers and general information about all of the great services offered through W.O.M.A.N., Inc., two former clients visited the table to thank the agency for all of the help they received in the past, to update us on their current lives and to introduce us to their children who were participating in the dance program being held in the gym outside of the resource fair. In the words of Annie Fisher, one of W.O.M.A.N., Inc. outreach volunteers, “It was a good day to represent W.O.M.A.N., Inc.”
The 4 hour event had over 50 organizations distributing information and resources, and it was an excellent chance to help spread the word about W.O.M.A.N., Inc. and issues around Domestic Violence. Connecting with friends of W.O.M.A.N., Inc. was just icing on the cake.
