LANGUAGE: both groups will be conducted in English.

This support group utilizes art projects for expression and as a “healing tool”. There will be an art project each week as well as some other activities such as guided meditations, breathing exercises, etc. It is designed for anyone who is impacted by domestic violence. We are using projects designed by “A Window Between Worlds.” There will be group agreements that we will review at the beginning of each group.

– Note that these are drop-in groups rather than ongoing (closed) groups; participants may attend any or all complete sessions during the series.
–  There is a suggested donation of $2 to $20 for each group. You are invited to donate if you wish.
–  We are unable to offer assistance with childcare during these groups.
–  One or more sessions may be canceled/modified due to holidays; in that event, participants will be notified in advance.

If you have any concerns about your safety in attending either group, we are happy to talk with you more about that and assist with any safety planning you might want; please call our 24 hour Support Line at (415)864-4722

Please note that while The Fog building at 333 Valencia st., where W.O.M.A.N., Inc.’s office is located, is currently under construction, we are still operating out of this location.
While the front of the building looks as though it is completely boarded up but the building is still accessible via a new entry way to the right of our old front door.  Unfortunately, though, the elevator is unreliable as it’s not always working but we will try to be as accommodating as much as we can.
We apologize for any inconvenience!
Thank you for understanding!
