From our pilot this past May, to our full launch in October, our Hybrid Training is up and running. Our full hybrid training included a collaboration with The Riley Center’s staff and their incoming volunteers. W.O.M.A.N., Inc.’s participants included community members taking the training as professional and personal development. All participants enrolled in our online training course and completed a series of modules that covered the various topics form our traditional 40 hour training. Participants then had the opportunity to engage in three days of in person skills labs that covered various activities and group discussions from the various intersections of domestic violence, to peer counseling to anti-oppression.
Congratulations to our community members who participated in our training! Emari D., Victoria S., Jean S, Minette W., and Alexander C.
