On October 16th, W.O.M.A.N., Inc. attended the annual San Francisco Healthy Mother’s Workplace Award Ceremony at the San Francisco Federal Building. The Healthy Mothers’ Workplace Coalition “is a collaboration of non-profit organizations, government agencies, and employers created to improve the working conditions and health of new parents.” We were honored to receive San Francisco Healthy Mothers Workplace Silver Award for yet another year. W.O.M.A.N., Inc. is proud to support working parents by providing flexibility, leave and safe, clean spaces for lactation needs. If our tiny org can make these things possible, certainly many more of us can work harder to support new parents in the workplace. Thanks to the organizers and to the folks fighting for families and mamas in the workplace!
