W.O.M.A.N., Inc. Healthy Relationships Support Group

This group is for folks who have survived abuse, or love someone who has—no blaming, no shaming. Great for those looking to build community, explore what type of relationship(s) they are hoping to create, or are curious about healthy vs unhealthy vs abusive relationships. We want to support folks as they build healthy, healing networks with others impacted by domestic violence and/or power and control dynamics. We’ll have some loving discussion around healthy relationships, self esteem, grounding ourselves, and much more! Just taking time to learn, unlearn and make some new pals.

Our Healthy Relationships Support Group meets Tuesdays, from 4pm to 5:30pm., starting February 18th, through March 7th, 2020, and will be offered in English.

LOCATION: W.O.M.A.N., Inc. office, 26 Boardman Place, San Francisco, CA 94103

Please note: groups will start on time at 4pm, and facilitators will not be able to open the door for anyone who is more than 15 minutes late.

There will be group agreements that we will review at the beginning of each group.

  • All genders welcome.
  • These are drop-in groups rather than structured, closed groups; participants may attend any or all complete sessions during the series.
  • While we do not have formal childcare on site, we do our best to have staff available to watch your child if needed. We ask that you contact us ahead of time if you need support with child watch; unscheduled child watch requests can not be accommodated.

If you have any concerns about your safety in attending either group, we are happy to talk with you more about that and assist with any safety planning you might want; please call our 24-hour Support Line at (415)864-4722

If you have any questions or need support with child watch to attend,
Send an e-mail to appointments@womaninc.org and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
