As a Board Member, what are some of your responsibilities?
Working closely with the Executive Director on goal-setting and strategic planning, financial management and oversight, supporting fund development, and being a resource to the W.O.M.A.N., Inc. team to respond to whatever needs the organization has.
How did you come to be involved with W.O.M.A.N., Inc.?
The wife of one of my coworkers was involved, and, knowing my passion for women’s issues and ending domestic violence, she connected me with W.O.M.A.N., Inc. back in late 2006.
What are you looking forward to as W.O.M.A.N., Inc. continues to grow?
Continuing to hear incredible stories of lives being changed and abuse ending. Continuing to grow in our relationships as a community, city, and state aligned on the vision of ending abuse. Continuing to extend our reach and improve our ability to provide quality services to more and more survivors, as well as our ability to measure the impact and long-term change resulting from this work.
