In 2022, the theme of Liberated Relationships guided our work. Adrienne Maree Brown says, “liberated relationships are one of the ways we actually create abundant justice – the understanding that there is enough attention, care, resource, and connection for all of us to access belonging, to be in our dignity, and to be safe in community.” We witness survivor-participants build liberated relationships with one another, with healing, with community, and their leadership.
Staff reconvened, deepening liberated relationships with one another. We dreamed of what is possible for W.O.M.A.N., Inc., focusing on our work with survivors and we want to amplify across the organization and in the community.
We could not continue this work without the role our larger community plays. Whether it be sharing our social media campaigns, listening to our podcast, being there for loved ones doing this work and of course, supporting survivors of domestic violence, you are helping put an end to and preventing cycles of abuse and harm. We thank you for your support & hope you enjoy learning more in our 2022 Annual Report.

En 2022, el tema de las Relaciones Liberadas guió nuestro trabajo. Adrienne Maree Brown dice, “las relaciones liberadas son una de las formas en que realmente creamos abundante justicia. El personal volvió a reunirse, profundizando las relaciones liberadas entre nosotros. Nos tomamos tiempo para recalibrar y soñar con lo que es posible para W.O.M.A.N., Inc., centrándonos en nuestro trabajo con los sobrevivientes y queremos amplificar. No podríamos continuar este trabajo sin el papel que desempeña nuestra comunidad en general. Ya sea compartir nuestras campanas en las redes sociales, escuchar nuestro podcast, apoyar a los seres queridos que hacen este trabajo, y por supuesto apoyar a los sobrevivientes de la violencia doméstica, usted está ayudando a poner fin a los ciclos de abuso y daño y también a prevenirlos.
